Sydney is abuzz.
Cunard’s recently launched liner Queen Elizabeth and her sister vessel Queen Mary 2 rendezvous spectacularly in front of two of Sydney Harbour’s world famous icons – the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.
English friends Rupert and Hilary invite Frank from Berlin, Shanti from Paris and myself for an ‘Afternoon Sail’ to see the 150,000 ton Queen Mary 2 depart from its berth in Woolloomoolloo Bay and to follow it down the harbour towards Sydney Heads and the Pacific Ocean. This video gives a hint of the excitement.
