First-timer, Swiss Officer, Roland is doused with tomato sauce and strung up with bratwurst in the 'Crossing the Equator' ceremony on deck

 
Crossing the Equator as we approach the mouth of the Amazon, King Neptune and his court board the ship. Unlucky first-timers are singled out for the ‘treatment’.

      Eddy, Actually, this initiation ceremony is for first-timers crossing the equator. So Edmundo was always safe from the bowl of tomato sauce!
