Michael delegates the job of ‘director’ to Edmundo but can’t help himself, countermanding Edmundo’s every move – Stand shoulder to shoulder . . . face on . . . feet apart . . . both hands on top of the staff etc.
It takes the engineer in cousin David to tell us later that in a group of twelve, the number of people on both sides of an arrow-shape setting has to be equal . . . and there can be no ‘pivot’ person.
