The view along this coast of the French Riviera only gets better flying low in a helicopter transfer to Monte Carlo to join the ‘Silver Whisper’ for a seven-day Mediterranean cruise.
On landing at the heliport in Monte Carlo, we are whisked to the harbour to join the larger of the yachts - the 'Silver Spirit' in the centre of th photo.
Our 7-day itinerary takes us to Italy, with calls in Portofino, and Livorno for a quick trip up to Florence; then to France with ports in Calvi, Corsica; St Tropez; Marseilles for Aix-en-Provence; and the fishing village of Sete in France's Languedoc region; and finally to disembark in Barcelona, Spain
