Roman, You can see I’m practising ‘live’ commentary in the video clips. (Trev, is this verb with a ‘c’ or an ‘s’?) The script might need more than a bit of attention, and don’t mention the ham actors . . . but I am out to get some experience (as instructed), before the Caucasus trip next month where Pam will take on the ‘speaking’ role.
June, you’ll have to continue ‘loving the imaginary visuals of canapes and wine’ as I didn’t want to ‘interrupt the moment with the glass of New Zealand Chardy in front of the fireplace’ to photograph the situation.
Anita, I did photograph the Entree of ‘Breast of Duck, Scampi Tail, Hazelnuts, Cauliflower, Poached Apples and Celery Leaves’ . . . but,
James, sorry, there’s no golf course to photograph on this hillside lodge by the edge of Lake Wakitipu.
Annie, there’s no snow on the ‘Remarkables’ as we all enjoyed nearly 10years ago a little further along the lake at Blanket Bay, but the view is still quite magical.
Hyunju, rummaging around in the ‘winter woollens’ drawer while packing to come away, I found the Alpaca we bought in Santiago while I was visiting in January, and you can see that I’m giving it a trial run.
Juanita, I don’t mind being ‘Mr von Stieglitz’ for three days away if we can always stay at places like Matakauri Lodge in Queenstown.
BTW The spot on the camera lens has been cleaned!
