riving from Paso Robles to LA today, we stop for ‘lunch on the Riviera’, the American Riviera, at The Four Seasons Resort – The Biltmore – Santa Barbara. It’s wonderful to sit outdoors under an umbrella at a table with uninterrupted views across the lawns to the Pacific Ocean. An iced Bloody Mary and the fresh California cuisine tops it all off. Then we continue the drive back to LAX where we turn in the ‘black ‘muscle car’ Convertible that we’ve been ‘hooning around in’ during the past week in California.

Michael, you had lunch less than 2 miles from where we lived on San Ysidro Road from 77 to 85 ! I spent many days rollerblading past the Biltmore during those years. I hope you enjoyed California. Your post on San Simeon was great, I never thought of it from that perspective.

Thanks Greg, You know me. I don’t write only about what I see but what catches my imagination. One day, Portugal again, with new experiences.
