y niece Jacqui and Satya presented their first-born, baby Ethan in a Hindu Temple in Queens NY for a ritual Puja, an offering to the deity, Ganesha, seeking a blessing from the Lord who destroys obstacles that might come his way in life.
Others of his Indian family members were also there to mark the occasion. The doting grandmother, Shobha who has been visiting from Hyderabad in India, Vandana and her son Kris from Washington, and Shobha’s sister, Sasikala. Great Uncle Michael, who was visiting New York, was there representing the Musgrave side of the family.
Can you imagine the face of the Immigration official when Jacqui’s family visited Sydney at Christmas time and presented three passports of different nationalities? Jac, an Aussie of course, Satya, an Indian, and Ethan travelling on a US passport.
We later came back into Manhattan for a celebration lunch at the Union Square Café.

You are awesome Uncle, thanks for capturing these moments and making it special for us. We are sooo happy we could do it when you were here.
p.s: Sorry about the Jacket, didn’t know the water had splashed that far.
