You simply won’t believe the day we had yesterday!
Jumping off the back of the dive-boat into the sea as 26 year-old Captain Matt backed up to get us as close as possible without the boat hitting the reef, I had visions of ending up ’20,000 Leagues Under the Sea”.
Only today do I learn on Google
“The title of the book 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea refers to a journey around the world that was of a distance of 20,000 leagues, not a depth of 20,000 leagues. A nautical league is three nautical miles.”
More of this story to come.
Mick , you are amazing….I wouldn’t even think of doing this. However, it is beautiful and fun and I’m glad you did it so I could see. the wonders of the sea……looking forward to more pix and story. but be safe. cheers J.
Looks fabulous – I think the hotel will be using your shots on the next promotion for Lizard.

I look to admire the photo: it leaves one breathless. I remember the first picture I saw of MM was a Christmas card: on a huge rock wearing sandals.
Michael, Those pictures are amazing!!!! I particularly like the second photo and am going to set it up as a wallpaper on my PC.
This photo is exquisite…I must share it with mom.
