High Definition Manhattan – with my Sony Camera

walk into the Sony showroom on Madison Avenue, located in what was once a spectacular 7-storey high Entrance space in the celebrated Philip Johnson designed A T & T Building on Madison Avenue.

Sony could take a lesson from Apple in using prime real estate to make a statement and reinforce their once cutting-edge image..

That aside, I went in to ask a simple question regarding one setting on my magical little Sony DSC RX100 camera that I love using, and came out with a slew of new settings that I simply had to go try.

At the press of a button and twirl of a dial, a palette of amazing new options opens for me. The photos in this album are done in the friendly Sony salesman’s favourite High definition ‘Painting’ mode. (I also threw in one that picked out just the colour red (in an American flag) for good measure.)
